Submission & Publication Terms
Policy draft — jurisdiction-specific legal review pending. No compliance guarantee.
Your rights representation
Submit only work you created and own or are sufficiently authorized to submit and license. You are responsible for accurate authorship and permission statements and for the permissions needed for included third-party material. Do not knowingly infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy, personality, image or similar rights. Describe sources accurately.
Images and people
These representations cover photographs, artwork, posters, illustrations, quotations and other incorporated material, including identifiable people. Public availability online is not permission. The form supports text and one still image, not video/audio uploads. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive information or private details about others.
Limited publication permission
You retain ownership. You grant ABotan a non-exclusive, no-fee permission to receive and review the submission, store it, make technical copies, publish and publicly display the approved work with its credit, language and supplied public source information on ABotan, and retain it in the ABotan archive. Internet publication is accessible worldwide. Service providers may process copies only as needed to operate this service.
Formatting and scope
Permission includes layout formatting, resizing and optimizing images, stripping embedded photo metadata, operational backups and limited internal publication-history records. It does not authorize unrelated advertising, resale of the work, copyright transfer, automatic translation or substantive rewriting. Seek separate permission for uses beyond this scope. Publication is subject to review and is never guaranteed.
Archive and requests
The editorial aim is a lasting cultural archive, including work whose contributor later changes their preference. That aim is not an unconditional right to retain material. Request withdrawal or correction through the rights-report process. Public removal, erasure of personal data, retention of the work and necessary internal legal records are separate decisions. Copyright, privacy, court/regulator orders and other mandatory requirements may require restriction or deletion. No work is declared impossible to remove.
Legal review boundary
LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED — confirm license scope, duration, revocability, capacity to grant rights (including minors), signature/form requirements and archival retention under the applicable law. The proposed permission lasts only for the stated review/publication/archive purposes while legally permitted; no perpetual or irrevocable grant is asserted. A checkbox records a declaration; it does not prove title or satisfy every jurisdiction’s licensing formalities.
