Attribution is not permission
Text, photographs, illustrations, posters and artwork can have separate rights holders. Identify the creator, source and permission basis where known. A factual event date/place is distinct from protected photos or copied descriptions. A link, credit or internet availability alone does not establish permission.
Reuse and provenance
Do not assume ABotan content is open licensed. Obtain permission from the relevant holder unless a valid license or applicable exception allows the intended use. Public source labels describe origin, not a legal clearance guarantee. Contributor-submitted and calendar-import labels describe how records arrived; neither certifies rights.
Editorial review
Editors review apparent copyright/plagiarism issues, sources, private information, depictions of people and questionable media. They may request evidence or withhold publication. Internal rights notes are private. Correct misattribution and report suspected infringement through the rights-report procedure.
Legal review
LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED — assess copyright exceptions, quotation limits, moral/personality/image rights and necessary license formalities case by case. Cultural, historical or literary aims do not create an automatic exemption from copyright or data-protection obligations.
